CHAPTER 70: I don't have an ex-girlfriend
"What's wrong?!" Kate was the first to rush into Isla's room when she heard the scream.
As soon as she came in, she saw the way Isla's little face was scrunched up in pain, and her face went white with fear as she looked at her small, red, burned hand.
"Hurry hurry hurry bring cold water!" Kate ordered in a hurry.
The maid who was outside the door hurriedly went to fetch a basin of cold water, so that Isla's little hand, which was red from being scalded, reached inside the basin.
At the moment the rest of the family ran into Isla's room.
All seven mouths were asking, "How's Isla doing? Are the burns bad?"
"Isla, does it hurt?"
"I'll call the family doctor right away."
For a moment.
Ella was instead squeezed at the back of the crowd.
She didn't show anything too much emotion, and her mind was probably already made up.
"Better?" Kate asked.
"Well, much better." Isla nodded.
"How could you be so careless, how much it must hurt to have such hot boiling water on your skin." Kate chided while looking at the hands that were all blistered, her heart ached to the core.
"Third sister-in-law didn't mean it." Isla hurriedly spoke, "Mom, don't blame Third Sister-in-law."
The words came out.
All eyes turned to Ella.
Original.
White Lotus segments are all the same.
Only this White Lotus is a little more advanced, hence the common name, bimbo.
After all.
Doris wouldn't hurt herself, and the one in front of her perfectly illustrates what it means to go to any lengths to get what you want.
People who don't even let themselves go are obviously not good!
"It was me who was careless just now." Ella also admitted it greatly, and with some self-reproach, "I was pouring water for Isla to take her medicine, the boiling water was too hot, so I put it at Isla's bedside to wait for the boiling water to cool, but when Isla reached out to pull me, she accidentally touched it, and had I known that, I should've put the boiling water a little farther away."
"Well, that's just it. I'm the one who accidentally knocked over the boiling water, it has nothing to do with third sister-in-law." Isla hurriedly took all the blame on herself.
"If I hadn't put it here, I wouldn't have knocked it down, and it's my fault too." Ella said in a rush as well.
Admit fault.
Who wouldn't already?
"No, no, no, it was my carelessness, third sister-in-law don't take it to heart, I'll be over it." Isla's eyes were red and she just had a look that, she was so afraid of involving others.
"Isla, take it easy, the doctor said you can't get excited." Kate rushed to persuade her.
Vivianne also rushed to say, "That's right, Isla don't you cry. It's not like anyone said anything wrong with you two?"
"But I've had two accidents with Third Sister-in-law today ...... I'm afraid that Third Sister-in-law will think that I'm a troublemaker, and I just accidentally told Third Sister-in-law about Third Brother's previous relationship with Sister Alice ...... me ...... I ...... "Isla's eyes were red.
It gives the impression that Ella already dislikes Isla a lot.
There could also be a misunderstanding as to whether or not the cup of boiling hot water was intentionally placed by Ella at the foot of Isla's bed and then intentionally scalded Isla.
It's really a fighter among white lotuses.
Ella was swimming in the face of Isla's self-reproach, a very atmospheric smile, "Eden and Alice dating things, I have long known, just also told you, I don't even care about it, that's all the things in the past. As for the two accidents that happened between the two of us, the first time was when your cat almost hurt me, and the second time was when mine accidentally hurt your hand, just so happens not to be even? Didn't you just say that you were so over Pamela attacking me? Now it's completely off your mind isn't it?"
Isla was stunned.
Perhaps not expecting it, Ella could put it so satisfactorily that there was no way for her to expand on it, and any further expansion would be suspected of making a fuss.
She had always been smart enough to know how to use her vulnerability and display of kindness to get sympathy from everyone, so that they couldn't help but go along with her.
At this point, however, she's actually being led by Ella.
Thinking about Alice back in the day, she was completely unbeatable in front of her.
Isla smiles slightly, "Good. We'll just about be even. And I won't keep taking the bull by the horns anymore, thank you third sister-in-law."
The smile looked pure and clean, looked like an angel, that high and harmless.
Ella smiled so faintly as well.
Mentally grasping at straws, it seems that this THE Dillon family, too, is not a place that can be frequented.
Certainly not scared.
Rather, I felt that being in a form of marriage with Eden, there was no need to mess up their family.
"I was afraid that Isla would keep bullshitting. It's still Ella who knows how to talk, opening Isla's heart in a flash and letting go of a big stone for me." Kate couldn't help but praise Ella as well, and it was obvious that she was sincere in her praise.
Ella smiled weakly, "Mom is flattering, and I don't want Isla to still be guilty about it, from what Eden said, Isla's emotions can have a big effect on her body."
"Yeah." Kate sighed, "I was afraid that Isla would never be able to let go of Pamela's attack on you, the kid has been sensitive since she was a little girl, it's good that she's finally opening up now."
Isla just listened to Ella and her mother talk.
Definitely not unexpected, she got hurt and Ella got a commendation from her mother instead.
There was something in my heart that I couldn't accept.
It certainly doesn't show on your face.
She would only secretly, think of countless, devious plots to get what she wanted.
Soon.
Isla's personal specialist doctor rushed over and did a basic physical examination of Isla to make sure there was no effect on her heart before treating and bandaging the back of Isla's burned hand.
The others saw that Isla was not in any serious condition and left Isla's room one after another.
Ella also returned to Eden's room.
She also had a bit of nothing to do since Eden was away.
Just went through Isla like that.
She didn't have much sleep either.
She thought about it and sat down on the couch and sent Eden a message, "Why don't you say that someone else in your family is your sister."
A quick reply from there, "Didn't you find out so soon?"
"I thought it was Alice."
"You care about her a lot?"
"Don't care." Ella chopped back three words.
Why should she care!
"Oh yeah?" There seemed to be some flirtation there.
"I'm messaging you just to confirm with you who the individual in your family is."
"So you're setting me up." There was an understatement there.
Between the lines, Ella couldn't read his emotions either.
She was about to exit the message that moment.
Eden sent another message over, "Alice is not my ex-girlfriend."
Ella frowned.
"I don't have an ex-girlfriend." Eden sent a few more words.
This one!
Is it a misinterpretation of the position of the ex-girlfriend.
