CHAPTER 145 - Eden Saved Ella with Her Life
Thrilling night.
It seemed to be suddenly quiet in that moment.
Ella just looked so closely at the two, miserable sedans in front of her.
Looking at one of them, it was still so familiar.
No.
It can't be.
Eden.
The car is his, but ...... definitely not driven by him.
He wouldn't, not with his life, try to save her.
He didn't have to go this far.
Ella seemed to blur a little before her eyes.
Blurring out, he looked inside the two sedans that had collided, and there was no movement inside.
It's like, everyone in there is dead.
Ella's heart, suddenly, ached.
Very intense pain.
It's really, really heartbreaking.
She thought that, in her life, she would never feel this way again.
Never again will I let myself go through, this feeling.
She opened the car door.
The moment he opened the car door, Alfred quickly opened it and rushed down as well.
The speed was clearly faster than her.
It also seems to have been discovered that the limo is Eden's at the moment.
He quickly went to the driver's side.
The cab, which had obviously been deformed, had Alfred pounding on the driver's door.
Ella walked over as well.
It was, forcing himself to take one step at a time with the hard feelings inside.
The streets are not too bright at night, even with streetlights.
So in the cab at the moment when all the airbags popped out, Ella couldn't see clearly, who the man inside the cab really was.
It just felt, like, like a lot of blood had been shed.
With this.
A limousine arrived quickly.
A kick of the brakes brought them to a hard stop.
Getting out of the car were Jonas and Winston.
No, Eden.
Ella's panic had been a little too much to hide.
Jonas and Winston quickly made their way to the limo and watched as Alfred was frantically banging on the limo door.
"The car doors are locked!" Alfred turned to them and said in a huff.
Jonas quickly goes back to his car and gets a hammer from inside his sedan.
He walked over.
There was no hesitation.
A hammer, straight through the windowpane.
Shattered window glass fell everywhere.
Everyone looked nervously at Jonas, watching as Jonas reached in through the shattered glass and went to open the car door from the inside.
"Clunk."
Out the door to be bounced.
Jonas jerked the car door wider.
Bending in, he frantically fiddled with the airbag and dragged a bloody shimmering man right out of it.
Drag it down that moment.
Ella saw it clearly.
Got a good look at his face that was all bloody.
Look closely, he's Eden.
Ella's heart was, literally, aching violently.
She really didn't think, really didn't think Eden would actually sacrifice for her to this point.
Even a second ago, she was complaining about Eden's cold bloodedness.
"Mr. Dillon," Alfred said, also looking a little agitated when he got a good look at the person.
Instead, Jonas is much more steady at the moment.
He carried Eden straight up and headed for his limo.
Winston quickly followed and opened the car door for Jonas.
Jonas puts Eden down at the same time Winston sits in.
With this.
Jonas quickly got back in the cab, kicked the gas, and took off.
Ella just looked at the three men who had suddenly disappeared.
The three men who suddenly disappeared in front of her.
"Alfred!" called Ella, turning her head to him.
"Ma'am hurry up and get in the car." Alfred seemed to have just responded as well.
The two men returned to the limousine.
Alfred kicked the gas and quickly followed the sedan in front of him.
The car was fast.
No less than, just now, the speed at which they were being chased.
So.
Is Eden hurt badly?
She had just even thought that his entire body was devoid of any breath when he was dragged from the car by Jonas.
No.
Eden can't just be dead.
In her last life, it was clear that she had lived longer than her.
It wouldn't be because of one of her rebirths that he would be so short-lived.
Definitely not!
The limousine quickly arrived to the city central hospital.
At the main entrance of the hospital, there were already countless doctors and nurses waiting there.
As soon as Jonas stopped the car, the door was opened by a doctor who moved quickly to lift Eden onto a mobile hospital bed.
Eden was hooked up to oxygen and the doctors and nurses pushed him, rushing away.
Jonas and Winston keep pace.
Alfred and Ella followed them.
All the way to the, emergency room.
Eden was pushed in.
The door to the emergency room, slammed shut.
The door was lit up with the words "In Surgery".
The others, isolated outside the operating room.
Jonas is clearly fidgety.
Once Eden is inside, he stomps his feet and walks back and forth in a hurry.
There was absolutely no trace of the calmness he had just shown.
Winston stood next to him, not as exaggerated as Jonas was acting, but with some concern evident on his face as well.
Alfred too.
An unchanging stiff face, hard to hide the emotion.
And, of course, so is Ella.
She was really scared that Eden would just die.
Just died for her.
She was reborn in a new life, only wanting to take revenge on those who harmed her, never thinking that it would involve the lives of others.
Her eyes tightened.
The hate for Lucien seemed to carve itself a little deeper in that moment!
Corridor.
Everyone waited so, uneasily.
"Damn!" burst out Jonas, "Don't you want to die or what?!"
Ella turned her eyes to Jonas.
Winston seemed to pull Jonas alongside him for a moment, reassuring, "He'll be fine."
"Whatever's going on, is it worth it for a woman?" Jonas seems to be completely calm.
"Jonas ......"
"Forget it, I'm going for a smoke!" Jonas suddenly shrugged off Winston and walked straight to the side.
Ella looked at Jonas' back.
glanced back, just in time to lock eyes with Winston.
Ella's eyes twitched slightly.
There's always a bit of, well, inexplicable emptiness.
She actually knew very well that Jonas, just now, was snapping at her.
Winston jogged over and said, obviously rounding up, "Ella, Jonas is a little more straight-laced."
"Uh-huh." Ella nodded.
Actually.
She doesn't blame Jonas either.
It would make her angry to have her friend get so hurt over another person.
Winston wanted to say something else.
"The surgical lights are out." Alfred said with sudden excitement.
Ella's mind boggled.
The moment was even so tense that she couldn't control herself.
Winston was obviously excited too.
He hurriedly took three or two steps toward the door of the operating room.
Jonas had just stepped out a short distance at the moment when he heard the noise and quickly ran back.
Then saw the doctor walk out of the operating room.
Everyone looked at him nervously.
The doctor said, "The patient's life is not in danger."
Ella really felt relieved.
It's really, really, so scary that it makes you so at peace with yourself when you get this result.
"Missing an arm or a leg?" Jonas asked eagerly.
"No." The doctor replied.
And no.
Ella bit her lip lightly.
The doctor said, "At the time of impact, it is clear that the patient was very good at protecting himself, and was not lightly injured, with multiple fractures and signs of trauma, but none of them really hurt his internal organs. The bleeding in the head is also extracerebral, no traces of intracranial hemorrhage were found, but in order to be safe, it is still recommended to be observed in the hospital for two days to see if there will be the possibility of concussion, after all, such a big car accident happened."
