CHAPTER 189 - Ella Jealous?

"Dad.Ella is really being too disrespectful to our family." Doris was having a hard time.

Cleverly used "our family" instead of "I".

"What did she do again?!" Morton's face was ugly as hell.

Wasn't expecting that.

A yellow-haired girl in the district had actually pushed him to this point!

"She satirized me in front of everyone for doing the reopening discount program. She also said that before, Sis was also like this, with little business skills, which is why the sales department's performance has been dismal. And from time to time, in front of the employees, she alluded to the fact that no one in our family is of much use, or else grandpa wouldn't have given the company to second uncle in the first place ......"

"IsElla going to flip out?!" Morton growled viciously.

"She really is unbeatable now. I see the staff looking at Ella with adoration now." Doris cried, "Dad, get our family, do we all really have to look at Ella all the time from now on?!"

"She doesn't have that in her yet!" Morton was green with anger.

Mouth is hard as hell though.

But the truth is, there is nothing that can be thought of at this moment to change the current situation.

"Dad, what can we do to teach Ella a lesson? It's okay for me to be sarcastically targeted by her, I'm just holding it for Dad and my brother, and my dead sister. Before, I always thought that Lucien was the one who forced my sister's death, but now that I think about it, I would say that Ella is the culprit." Doris differently fanned the flames, "If there was no Ella, sis wouldn't have taken the initiative to provoke Lucien, and even if she did, if there was no Ella, sis wouldn't have been caricatured by the world to such an extent that led to her choosing to commit suicide ......"

"I'm not going to make it easy on Ella!" Morton said through gritted teeth.

It's not just Ella.

Jack's family is not going to be happy.

"Dad, so what should I do now?" Doris asked miserably, "Now that Ella has asked me to turn in an opening offer, she's obviously targeting me on purpose, and nothing I write can get in her sights." Doris was aggravated to no end.

"Let her pick on you." Morton said bluntly.

"Dad?" Doris looked surprised.

"It's all about holding her back." Morton said, "You're doing things under her now, and the better you do, the better you're helping her!"

"Uh-huh." Doris nodded quickly, "Dad, I know what to do."

"Doris," Morton said at length, "I'm going to ask you to put up with Ella's temper for a while. Don't worry, Dad definitely won't let her fool around for long!"

"No commissions. I feel honored to be able to do my part for Dad."

"Good boy." Morton praised.

"I'm off to work then." Doris said sweetly.

"Good."

Hanging up the phone, the smile on Doris's face disappeared.

She's actually purposely allowing her dad to allow that she can't do anything.

The first was because, her dad was right, the better she did now was the better for Ella, and she wasn't stupid enough to, well, give someone else the benefit of the doubt.

The second reason is that she really doesn't have enough ability in this area, when she received this program assignment, her whole body was dumbfounded, it was hard for her to think of something to come out, she herself didn't think it was in the right place, in order to not let her dad think that she can't do her job, and that she doesn't have the ability to help her dad in the future, she devised a way of using her dad's mouth to make it not work out for her.

So much for that.

She'd be able to go along for the ride and muddle through.

Think of it this way.

There was a sudden knock on the door of the room.

Doris turned her head.

The moment she turned her head to look at Ella, there was a real blossoming of fear.

It's just being a thief, so it's panic to the point of no return.

Ella pretends not to see it.

She spoke lightly, "Just came to give you a reminder that we're on the same side. If I don't thrive, you won't be any better. You'd better hold a scale."

Doris naturally knows what Ella is talking about.

The sales department's performance couldn't take off, and she, as the head of the marketing room in the sales department, would suffer the same fate as Ella because of her performance.

This Ella.

Still really trying to get everything.

She even felt that Ella had already guessed, all her current mentality, and that's why she purposely came to remind her.

"Right." The moment Ella turned to leave, something else occurred to her and she said, "We're both in the same boat, but your brother isn't. You'd better think carefully about who your father would choose between you and your brother."

"What are you trying to say?" Doris couldn't help herself, asking her.

"You're so icy smart, you must have thought of that." The corners of Ella's mouth lifted lightly, "I won't bother you with your work. Tomorrow morning at nine o'clock I hope to see a perfect marketing plan for the reopening."

Having said that.

Just go.

Doris looked at Ella's back.

Needless to say, this was the moment she was suddenly lifted by Ella.

She didn't even have to think hard to realize that her dad definitely chose Kim between Kim and her.

The Ford family was well aware of how patriarchal they were.

Doris's eyes tightened.

She can't be anymore, her dad's cannon fodder to help Kim!

She's come so far.

It can't just be, like, halfway!

......

Ella returned to her office.

She just went to Doris, apparently on purpose.

She thought about it.

Getting rid of Doris, not so easy.

Embarrassing her a little to make her lose face won't do much for her.

Doris didn't grow up with a lot of that, and isn't she alive and well now?

The only thing that works best with the Morton family is to sow discord.

Once each has a conflict.

Trying to actually get the Morton family killed is half the battle.

Ella pulled her attention back to her work.

Just turned on the computer.

The phone rang.

She glanced at the caller.

Easing through, "Eden."

"Doesn't the name Eden smell good?" Eden asked her.

Ella pursed her lips.

"So can the husband."

"......" rolls.

Ella's face was slightly dry.

She took a deep breath and pretended she hadn't heard anything, "What's the matter with calling me?"

"I'll be leaving Seattle today," Eden didn't nag, straight to the point.

"Where to?"

"You care about me?" Eden asked.

"Don't care." Ella was indifferent.

Eden didn't say anything else.

Ella was even thinking.

Is this the way Eden keeps her from knowing his whereabouts.

This man.

Sometimes it's really cunning to the point of being, well, outrageous.

"If you miss me, you can call me 24/7."

"Don't want to."

"I'm going to want to, so Miss Ford can't be off or on mute 24/7." Eden word for word, "I want to be able to reach you at all times."

"......" Could it be any more overbearing!

"I'm getting on a plane." Eden said.

Meaning, it's time to hang up.

"So, you went after Alice did you?"

Ella finally said it the second the phone hung up.
