CHAPTER 132 - The Mysterious Eden
Cendy briefly washed up, changed into a set of loungewear, and went downstairs.
Downstairs, when the maid saw her appear, she rushed forward and said enthusiastically, "Miss, you're up, are you hungry? Want to eat something?"
"I have a hangover from last night, and the inside of my stomach is a bit uncomfortable, so you can just boil some porridge for me."
"Yes." The maid immediately replied, "Young master got up this morning and let me boil wine-awakening congee, he ate a little bit of it, and I kept the rest of the lot warm, I'll serve it to you right away."
"Uh-huh." Cendy answered.
Couldn't help but feel a little ironic at that moment either.
I didn't realize Winston was quite good at keeping fit.
No wonder the skin is fine and tender, like a little white boy.
Cendy sat at the dining room table, slowly and methodically ate the sobering porridge, said sobering porridge, in fact, it is a mixture of vegetables and fruits, the porridge is relatively viscous, fruits and vegetables with a fresh aroma, the mouth is aromatic and also with back sweetness, eat into the stomach, there is a feeling of warmth and fullness up.
Cendy couldn't help but have one more bowl.
Halfway through the second bowl, I suddenly saw Bowen arrive.
Seeing Bowen that moment.
Cendy mentally used two words in capital letters, "Guilt."
It's the great guilt of doing that thing with Winston last night to you Bowen.
She even this moment saw a twinkle in his eye.
"Cendy, how are you?" Bowen not only didn't notice that she was different, but at the moment he clearly looked concerned.
"I'm okay, I got drunk last night and I'm just now getting up to get something to eat." Cendy replied trying to keep herself calm.
She certainly couldn't give Bowen a showdown about something like that last night.
While she really didn't know it was Winston last night, and saying that rationally Bowen might have accepted it, but emotionally, there was certainly no way she couldn't take it.
She called it A white lie.
"You scared the hell out of me last night." Bowen couldn't help but be relieved, "Next time don't drink so much okay?"
"Uh-huh." Cendy nodded her head, seeming to really not want to bring up yesterday's incident as she immediately changed the subject and asked, "What brings you over here today, and so early? Isn't work always busy?"
"Still not worried about you." Bowen spoiled a smile, "I was going to come early this morning, but today there are a few urgent things need to be dealt with, I'm afraid that I came and has been dealing with the work there is no way to properly accompany you, so hesitation again and again or first went to the company to finish things, so that you can peacefully accompany you for a day, the results did not expect that a busy busy to this point. "
Said with some guilt.
Cendy really feels like she is or isn't a lip sometimes.
Bowen has been so good to her, he's just trying to give her happiness on his own, what the hell is she upset about?
To complain about him from time to time is hard to know in Bowen's mind.
"Bowen, I'll never push you again. We're both young now anyway, and it's okay if we get married a few years later and have kids a few years later." Cendy said seriously.
Bowen smiled gently as he stroked Cendy's head, "I'll try."
Meaning, try to meet your standards as early as possible.
Then marry her early.
"By the way, have you had lunch yet?" Cendy suddenly thought.
Follow Bowen's scrappy work ethic.
To be able to make time for him, he may not have even eaten dinner.
Frustrated, Bowen shook his head.
Cendy just couldn't take it.
She hurriedly asked the maid to serve Bowen porridge as well.
The moment before the maid could bring it over, Bowen suddenly demanded, "I'm so hungry, why don't you feed me first."
Cendy half-heartedly refused as she picked up her own spoon and just fed Bowen a mouthful.
It looked distinct and intimate to a fault.
"Yummy ......"?
The words had not yet been asked.
Cendy suddenly saw Winston walk through the living room and go straight up the stairs.
Bowen's afterimage for a glance, a sneer pulling at the corners of his mouth.
Positivity.
The maid brought over a bowl of porridge.
Cendy withdrew her eyes.
She smiled weakly at Bowen, "Eat more."
It's not like Winston is ruining her "sweet date" at all.
Two people finish their porridge.
Cendy can't be bothered at home.
And Bowen is so good at taking it easy for a little while, he doesn't even think twice about going out and playing with Bowen.
Bowen is basically all over Cendy as well.
Bowen waits outside Cendy's room for Cendy to change.
A man's voice seemed to be heard in the distance, a familiar voice.
Bowen glanced that way and hesitated for a few seconds before walking over.
Walk over and there is a 2nd floor sky balcony with a man on the phone with his back turned.
"Came back this time wanting to reclaim Cendy," Winston said to no one in particular.
But that one comment clearly made Bowen blush for a moment.
Gritting his teeth in secret, he pulled out his own cell phone, pointed it at his back, and took the video.
"Yeah, I still can't get Cendy out of my mind after all these years, so I want to try again to see if I can get it back."
"I know she and Bowen are in a good place right now, but as long as they're not married, anything is possible."
"Well, I'll lend you a hand."
Winston hung up the phone.
Meanwhile, Bowen had put away his cell phone and turned away.
Leave the moment.
Winston took an afterimage.
Then, continue to look at Seattle, Azure Sky.
Look at the sky below.
The couple got into the limo intimately and took off.
......
10pm.
Ella moved her neck.
It felt like the whole body was stiff at that moment.
She glanced at Alfred and watched him sit on the couch, literally motionless, his back still straight, not looking half tired.
"Are you usually this serious?" Ella couldn't help but ask as she moved her body.
Alfred turned his head to look at her, "Get used to it."
"What about your family?" Was it thinking Alfred was too cold and hard for his family to handle?
"I'm an orphan."
"Sorry." Ella was a little embarrassed.
"It's nothing." Alfred shook his head, "Getting used to it."
"How did you and Eden meet?" Ella changed the subject to avoid embarrassment.
"At a boxing match." Alfred replied.
"He came to watch you box?"
"No."
"Huh?" Ella was surprised, "Is it hard to believe that he can fight on his own?"
Alfred didn't say anything.
"Eden's not allowed to tell you?" Ella was able to think at once.
"Yes."
Ella was a little speechless.
Does Eden, the man, need to be so mysterious?
"You could actually have a better career, boxing champion, kickboxing and sparring are so good, you could do anything. Bodyguard is a bit condescending." Ella couldn't help but say.
"Mr. Dillon is very generous to me and gives me a lot of money every year."
"How much?" Ella couldn't help but wonder.
"One million."
"Oh, damn," Ella shut right up.
She's not even making a million dollars a year right now!
