CHAPTER 119 - Getting Jonas to help, Eden's upset

Lewis heard Ella's overly arrogant words and was so angry he almost didn't jump out of his skin.

"You you you think you can do whatever you want just because you're the chairman's daughter? Do you know who I am?!" Lewis roared loudly.

"Whoever you are, you're not as big as me!" Ella had an unbeatable look on her face.

Doing all the brash and rude posturing really makes you hate it!

Lewis was so angry that he wanted to beat Ella to death, and at that moment thought better of it, turned around and left angrily, leaving the moment he did, stranding a scathing remark, "You're going to have to wait for me!"

Ella smiled coldly, she is to be angry Lewis, the person behind the dig out. What is the point of killing a Lewis to make an example of him, and catching the big guy is the key!

She picked up the phone and dialed the intercom, "Mr. Parker, keep an eye on where Lewis is going at the moment for me?"

"Yes." Wilson deferred.

......

Lewis stormed into senior leader Donald's office in a huff, "Mr. Bayden, do you even care about me anymore? You know that dead girl, Ella, wants to fire me!"

Donald's face sank when he saw that Lewis had come straight to his office without any semblance of respect or scruples, "Didn't I tell you not to come to me at the office?"

"I'm going to be kicked out of the company if I don't come to you!" Lewis simply couldn't suppress his anger!

"Ella that stinky girl, she dismisses you when she says so? Who does she think she is?" Donald looked unimpressed, "Jack usually has to be afraid of me, who is she to touch my people!"

"A newborn calf is not afraid of tigers, you didn't see how arrogant she was just now! She just does whatever she wants on the basis that her father is the chairman!" Lewis said fiercely, "In case she just doesn't care about the consequences, won't I become cannon fodder? I've been working for the company for 20 years, and if I'm sacked, where will I find such an easy and rich job again!"

Donald sneered, "Don't worry, I won't let her sack you even if she doesn't care about the consequences. You go down first and wait for my news."

"Don't you fool me?!"

"Whoever I fooled, I couldn't have fooled my father-in-law!" Donald smiled a lecherous smile, "Don't you realize how much I love your daughter?!"

Lewis thought about it and nodded, still unsure at that moment, "Anyway, I can't lose this job."

"Uh-huh." Donald answered.

Lewis left.

Without slowing down Donald picked up the phone and dialed, "Mr. Ford, I'm sorry for your loss!"

"Ugh." Morton sighed heavily.

After all, so two days, or some can not ease the grief inside, so took a long vacation, did not go to work.

"You wanted to see me about something?" Morton knew, naturally, that Donald had nothing to do with anything.

"It's not that niece of yours, Ella, who's been acting up again."

"What's wrong?" Speaking of Ella made Morton angry!

Donald spilled the beans about the sales department moving employees and the fact that Lewis was going to be laid off.

"Ella's really out of control!" Morton was angry as hell.

"So I want to take this opportunity to teach her a lesson. Last time, we were made to lose face, and I haven't swallowed half of this breath!"

"I'm the one with a bellyful of ghost fire!" Morton said fiercely, "I've been wanting to beat this dead girl to death for a long time!"

"Then give her some credit."

"Good. But I'm really not in the mood to come to the company for the past two days, so I'll leave it to you to deal with Ella." Morton had finally broken his heart because of Hedy and couldn't slow down for a while.

"No problem. I'm just giving you a heads up so you don't think I'm hiding something from you again." Donald said, not forgetting to add reassuringly, "Take care of yourself, and I'm sorry for your loss."

"Uh-huh."

Both parties hung up.

Donald's face went cold, Ella, the ungrateful one, really thought she could turn the tables!

......

Office of the Director of Sales.

Wilson reported, "Went to Mr. Bayden's office."

"Donald?!" Ella's eyes tightened.

No wonder it can be arrogant to this extent.

"Do you need me to investigate their relationship further?!"

"No, just do the job I gave you."

"Yes."

Wilson left and Ella didn't hesitate to dial, "Eden."

"It's rare that you miss me so soon." There was a soft chuckle there.

This one is also too self-absorbed.

She said, "Just give me Jonas' number."

"...... Are you sure you didn't say the wrong name?!" Eden's tone changed noticeably.

"Jonas," Ella repeated anyway, somewhat breathlessly.

Eden hesitated for two seconds, then said a string of numbers.

Ella made a note of it and said, "Thanks."

Eden has yet to speak.

The phone hangs up on that side.

Eden just stared out at the black screen of her cell phone.

"Looks like it's falling ......" Jonas joked.

Eden kills it with one look.

Jonas shut up.

The moment you shut up, the phone rings.

Jonas looked at the phone number and deliberately said, "Your wife!"

Eden pretends not to hear.

Jonas picks up, "Ella."

"You know my phone number?" Ella was surprised.

"Oh. Sort of know." Jonas beat a dead horse.

What do you mean, you know?

How Ella felt that each of Eden's friends were godawful.

She said, "Please, one thing."

"You say."

"Help me find out what relationship the Ford Group board member Donald has with the Ford Group employee Lewis, and if there are any skeletons in the closet!"

"Good." Jonas balked.

After all, he was on speakerphone, and then Eden nodded.

Ella was still a little surprised by Jonas's alacrity.

Didn't think much of it at that moment, and was about to say thank you when I heard Jonas suddenly speak up, "Say, why did you ask me to help you instead of Eden?"

"isn't the Davis family black and white, you have such a strong network of connections, why would I go to Eden. to him he would still need your help, wouldn't I be redundant?" Ella said rightfully so.

"You're looking down on Eden?!" Jonas laughed with a smug look on his face.

It was a clear moment to see Eden's face go green.

"It's not that I can't see it, it's just that there are specialties. He's no match for you in that area, and I don't want to embarrass him." Ella said plainly.

"...... You're afraid you have some kind of misunderstanding about Eden!" Jonas couldn't help but laugh.

"What?!" Ella was amazed.

Jonas shut up in a heartbeat as he received a look from Eden and pulled back to the point, "I'll let you know when I hear something."

"I hope the sooner the better, it's a bit of a rush." Was well aware that Donald certainly wasn't going to be able to give her much time.

"Good." Jonas agreed.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome."

Hanging up the phone, Jonas clearly sees Eden's death stare.

He made a snap decision, "I'm off to take care of things for your daughter-in-law, talk to you back."

And without waiting for Eden to say anything, sprinted away.
