CHAPTER 49 - The Wedding (7) Teaching a Lesson to Shameless People
Lucien was slapped dumb on the spot by Ella.
He looked at Ella with wide eyes, even a little disoriented.
A woman like Ella would actually hit him!
This kind of woman, who had been educated by the upper class to have one eye and would only abide by the rules, actually hit him in front of everyone!
He looked at Ella with anger on his face.
Looking at Ella at the moment had directly shrugged off his hand in the second he froze and turned around.
He clenched his fists.
Still trying to figure out how to get Ella to stay.
How to keep their wedding going.
Right then and there.
"Stop!" An old but stern voice suddenly rang out.
Everyone looks to the old man, Athena, who suddenly appears on the stage.
She was seen being held up by Morton, and she strode up to the center of the stage in a huff, rushing at Ella and shouting orders.
Ella paused in her departure.
It wasn't that she was afraid of Athena, she just felt that since some people were going to give her face, she would completely disgrace her!
She turned back and faced Athena.
Athena, in front of the crowd, did not give Ella any mercy at all and shouted, "Is marriage child's play? You're allowed to fool around like that!"
Ella had not yet spoken.
Athena reprimanded again, "Your marriage to Lucien was promised to you by your grandfather himself. The so-called parents' order, matchmaker's words! Now the Williams family came to marry you in a palanquin, and now you are just leaving, do you still put your grandfather in the eyes of our elders? Do you still have any family law left?!"
Ella didn't actually think that THE Williams family would find help so quickly.
As expected, he had been cheated by them back then, and the capabilities of this family really could not be underestimated.
But she, too, is not the Ella of her day.
Being threatened with a few random words, being talked down to, and being able to do whatever you want.
She glared at Athena, "So grandma is thinking that as long as the elders have fixed my marriage, I should marry even if the other person is a murderer?!"
The sarcastic remark made Athena's face sink for a moment.
She rushed at Ella and said fiercely, "Ella don't you dare to give me strong words here! If Lucien was a murderer I would admit it, but he wasn't, he just made a mistake that all men make, and at a time when he was blaming himself so much and having such a hard time, you, as his wife, not only didn't stay with him to get through it, but you also threw him right back down! We, THE Ford family, don't have children and grandchildren like you who don't know any better!"
"Don't know what's good for you?" Ella gave another sneer, "So in Grandma's mind, Lucien steals people and I'm still at fault? Isn't it true that if I go and steal someone, Lucien should also forgive me unconditionally!"
"Ella!" gasped Athena, her face green with anger, "How can you say such a thing."
"Yes, this kind of words, grandma, you are so good at saying them!" Ella's voice got a little louder and her aura got a little stronger, "Marriage is my own, I'm choosing the right path for the sake of my happiness, who are you to stop me with the majesty of your elders? Or is it that in grandma's mind, it doesn't matter if I'm doing well or not, anyway, as long as you guys find it profitable, I'll marry whoever I want!"
"Shut up!" Athena chided.
Ella wasn't to be outdone, "You're so disrespectful for your old age, you're the one who should shut up!"
"Ella, you're going to flip out aren't you!" Athena was really mad at Ella.
It was totally unexpected that Ella could carry on with her even in front of a crowd.
The last time it was at the the Ford family compound will not be mentioned, there was no one else there.
How dare you come at her like that now.
As far as she could remember, Ella wasn't like that.
Ever since she was a little girl, if she was just a little bit mean, Ella would give in and admit her mistakes.
Now not only was she not the least bit afraid of her, but she was defying her in front of so many people and even disgracing her!
At the moment, to outsiders, she was someone who couldn't even control her own granddaughter.
It might even be rumored that she can't speak at all in THE Ford family.
Athena's anger intensified at the thought.
Sure.
Ella doesn't care anymore.
With Athena, there was no thought of mercy.
She said coldly, "Now I also finally know why grandpa dislikes grandma so much! It turns out that it's because, grandma's three views are not correct!"
"Ella, what the hell are you talking about! Do you want me to be the eldest to teach you a lesson for being so rebellious!" Morton suddenly interjected, also trying to put Ella's temper down.
Ella turned her eyes to look at Morton, "Originally, I really didn't intend to embarrass us, the Ford family, and I didn't even want to pursue this matter too thoroughly, but since Uncle wants to do justice for the Ford family so much, why don't we talk about the cause of this accident, the matter of Lucien cheating on your daughter Hedy with you! daughter Hedy's affair!"
Morton blushed for a moment.
The Williams family had just been asked by the Williams family to force Ella to consummate the wedding, and since they already had some secret dealings with the Williams family, and since Morton wanted to use the power of the other families to get back the Ford Group, which he felt belonged to him, he naturally agreed to do so.
but neglected to mention that his daughter caused this accident.
He's on stage and he's embarrassing himself.
Ella didn't give Morton any face at all and aggressively said, "Uncle, just now Lucien kept saying that it was Hedy who seduced him. Is it true or not? Do you want to face the book in person, if it's true, I might still be able to forgive Lucien."
"You!" Morton was so angry he wanted to beat Ella to death.
As soon as Lucien heard that Ella was going to forgive him, he rushed on, "Where's Hedy? I want to confront Hedy!"
It's all been discovered anyway.
It's all pulled off explosive anyway, and he doesn't have to worry about Hedy exposing him anymore.
With Hedy, a woman he was simply playing around with, not even as good as Ella in his opinion.
Ella is at least the authentic Missy of the Ford family.
She was born as a concubine, and to be able to favor her was merciful to her.
Morton looked at Lucien and his face changed for a moment.
He's here to help him out now, and Lucien, the asshole, gets to flip out right away.
The moment.
Hedy was also literally forced onto the stage by THE Williams family people.
Her starched gown shone surprisingly brightly in the lights of the wedding reception venue.
She had felt so beautiful, but now she was mortified by the sudden accident.
She was a little nervous about facing everyone on stage.
Looking at Lucien pitifully at that moment, even though Lucien had just balked at the idea that she had initiated it, she kept reassuring herself that Lucien had no choice but to do his big thing.
Now that she's forced to face this, she still feels that Lucien can save her, can protect her.
She acted pathetic.
The next moment Lucien is heard saying, "Hedy, why did you drug me in such a despicable way to make me do what I did to Ella!"
