CHAPTER 46 - The Grand Wedding (4) The East Window

The staff opened the door to the dressing room.

Ella followed Lucien and made her way to the banquet hall.

At this moment in the banquet hall, the guests were already sitting in their seats, and the lights of the whole place, just hit the center on the carpet covered with flower petals.

Lucien escorted Ella inside a pink castle made of flowers and veils in the ballroom, and went himself to the stage in the very center of the ballroom, where he waited for her to arrive.

To the music of the wedding march.

The veil in front of Ella was slowly opened by the staff.

Ella walks down a carpet of petals, holding her father's hand.

The lights follow Ella's steps, one step forward at a time.

All eyes in the room were on Ella, all looking at her, with a light, light smile, stunningly beautiful.

"Dad." Ella called out to him suddenly.

"Uh-huh." Jack agreed.

"In a moment, whatever happens, don't be surprised."

"Hmm?" Jack frowned.

is aware that her daughter will repent of her marriage in public today.

But what form it would take, how it would be repented of, and exactly how far it would go, neither he nor her mother knew anything about.

Until now.

They all thought their daughter had given up.

At this moment, but suddenly, I heard her speak again.

"Anyway, everything is my arrangement."

"Good." Jack nodded.

That is, unconditional trust in his daughter.

Ella took her father's arm and finally made her way to Lucien.

Lucien gentlemanly reaches out.

At the moment, he was still showing his noblest and most elegant side, which made everyone praise him.

Jack placed Ella's hand on Lucien's and patted Lucien's shoulder gently.

Lucien nods.

It's just a look that, for sure, will be good for Ella.

It was such a small gesture.

It just drew applause from the room.

Lucien took Ella's hand tightly and faced the priest in front of him.

The priest smiled kindly at them.

He said into the microphone, "It is my honor and privilege that today I will make this couple's marriage contract in the name of God. But before I do, the groom has a special message for our bride, so please give our groom a moment."

On the scene, there was another round of enthusiastic applause.

It was the same in the last life.

Before the ceremony, Lucien made a heartfelt confession in front of everyone, making everyone feel that he was in love with Ella, to the bone, making everyone envious, that Ella had married such a wonderful man.

Ella thought so back in the day and was even in tears of happiness over his confession.

Yet at the moment.

She just looked at Lucien with such indifference as she fondly held the microphone and said in an extremely gentle voice, "Ella, when I first saw you, you were 10 years old, and your grandfather and my grandfather were playing chess inside the house. I saw you obediently sitting by your grandfather's side, your face so red and cute, I think ...... from that time on, I fell in love with you. So when my grandfather told me that you will be my future bride, then only 13 years old words, but for this excited toss and turn to sleeplessness. I have been looking forward to 12 years, finally, to my most beautiful bride ......"

Ella had a smile on her lips.

Smiling, confused.

But I have to say, the beauty is dazzling.

Cendy is next to Ella, and the moment is all about Lucien's emotional and sincere confession.

Lucien clearly loves Ella.

Why would Ella want to be double minded.

She all felt bad for Lucien.

“那些所谓生老病死,那些所谓贫穷富贵的誓言,都无法表达我对你的爱意。Ella,我只希望,这辈子,下辈子,下下辈子,永永远远都让我来照顾你,保护你。” Lucien's own eyes reddened.

Everyone saw the moment of love in that moment.

Ella watched too.

Watch closely.

She also didn't realize until she died that this so-called true confession was paid for, how Lucien could possibly have written such heartfelt sentences about her, and that the redness in his eyes was, presumably, pinching himself.

After all, at this very moment, she could see that in the not-so-bright light, one of his hands was clearly and viciously choking his thigh.

Knowing all the truth, Ella found the scene in front of her hilarious.

Funny enough, she suddenly laughed a little.

Uncontrollably, a big smile.

Obviously, the woman who should be crying the most is smiling with an innocent face at this moment.

And her smile, straight away, made Lucien's well-brewed emotions break down completely.

He couldn't keep his eyes from getting red.

A frown couldn't help but furrow his brow at that moment.

By rights, Ella should be crying at this moment.

Once she cried, he would go up to her and wipe her tears and then floor her in his arms, bringing this wedding to its first climactic part.

However.

The way Ella looked now, Lucien was clearly still a little flustered at that moment.

But Lucien has seen the world, after all.

He swapped the wiping of his tears for another hand-holding session, holding her palm tightly within his large hand as he said to Ella, "I've got a surprise for you."

Ella didn't move to smile.

We'll find out in a minute if it's a surprise or a shock.

Lucien held Ella's hand, turned his back to the guests, and set his sights on the large, high-definition screen in front of him.

The screen is huge.

Even the farthest part of the banquet hall can see the picture clearly.

Ella was still glad she was born again, at least she knew everything.

Knowing all the parts of the wedding, knowing when to let him, woefully, get away with it!

At the moment, all the attention of everyone on the scene was on the high-definition screen.

Lucien kept a smile on his lips, waiting for everyone to be touched by him.

In fact Lucien in his last life did.

He carefully prepared the photos of the two people from childhood to adulthood, the two people met for the first time, the first heart, the first time to hold hands, the first time to kiss, the first time to ...... many, many beautiful moments, all of them were recorded by him.

Who could believe that a man could do this if he wasn't really, really in love.

Record all of their bits and pieces perfectly, without a single regret.

But.

Lucien just did it.

Doing it without loving her and then still cheating everyone out of it.

The large, black screen was suddenly lit up.

Lucien was confident, even with a hard-to-conceal smugness.

This wedding.

It would make him, in the eyes of outsiders, the best man in the world.

He carried himself with a face full of anticipation.

But in the next second, the smile instantly froze as he watched the image appear on the screen.

Originally it should be a documentary of his and Ella's beautiful love affair, but at this moment, it suddenly turned into a picture of two bodies crazily entangled, accompanied by the video's pouting male and female voices, which directly made everyone at the scene, in an uproar!
