CHAPTER 153 Eden, stay away from me.
Stalemate space.
Ella pursed her lips lightly.
She said, "Eden, I said last night, give me time, I'm having a hard time, accepting you."
Eden just looked at her.
A lot of the time, Ella was actually really impervious to his likes and dislikes, and his emotions were sometimes hidden to the point that it made her feel horrible.
So she wasn't sure if she'd really pissed him off or not after what she'd just said.
She was just, a little disturbed inside.
Because last night Eden said to wait for her.
But.
She couldn't really guarantee that his wait would be fruitful.
She'd rather he be the same person he was and not have to change anything for her.
So she regretted it when she stopped the intimacy between Eden and Alice.
Regret tried to make amends, and the words that came out of her mouth felt, inexplicably, as if they had hurt him.
Truthfully, she had never been so conflicted about a man.
Before, even if she loved Lucien very much, she was really treating him with all her heart, and sincerely gave herself right to that man without so many worries, and now she doesn't even know herself what kind of way she should use towards Eden.
She could only tell him her innermost thoughts, "For a lot of superficial things, I've experienced too much in Lucien, and those too much make me feel like I lived a stupid life in my last life. I'm really afraid of that, repeating it."
Right.
I'm afraid to accept it because I'm so scared.
Nor will it be taken lightly.
"Eden, maybe it's a little selfish, and maybe it's not fair to you, but I just can't bring myself to take this step right now, so I hope you can ...... stay away from me."
Ella one-liners.
To say it out loud, there's actually a real, unspeakable emotion inside.
It just seems like ...... a thousand pounds of pressure on the heart.
A little out of breath.
"How far?" Eden asked.
Ella was stunned.
"Not sleeping with you? Not kissing you? Or, not even hold hands? Or, don't have to, let's not even see each other." Eden asked her, and it really would be in a very calm tone, asking her.
Ella bit her lip lightly.
"Ella, I'm giving you time to try to understand me, not for you ...... to go further and further away." Eden said looking at her, deeply.
"We met in passing and I don't believe in the so-called love at first sight." Ella said bluntly.
It's just not believable that two people who have nothing to do with each other can suddenly socialize and suddenly fall in love.
"That's why I said I'd give you time to believe." Eden's tone was firm.
Ella seemed to realize something at that moment.
Found it.
Eden was talking, convincing her that he really did love her at first sight.
When was that?
Love at first sight while crashing at Kingtin Mountain?
But at the time, she clearly didn't see half of Eden's mood swings.
Distinctly did not show an ounce of emotion.
He was even full of impatience with her, as she remembered.
So ......
What is this man hiding.
In the end, how many unspeakable secrets were hidden underneath these stunningly beautiful cheeks of his.
And a man so deep in the city.
And how could she, without a care in the world, give herself all.
She admitted that she was just being selfish.
But she, really, had no other choice.
Because, it can't fail.
God couldn't possibly give her another chance to be born again!
The sudden silence of space.
Relief came the moment the door to the ward room was pushed open.
Kate came in with hurried steps and with eager concern, "Eden, how's it going? How could you be so careless and get into such a big car accident, if Jonas hadn't told Steve this morning, I wouldn't have known you were so badly hurt last night."
Ella is slowly adjusting herself in this moment as well.
"I'm nothing." Eden said lightly, her voice returning to its usual.
"Why nothing, can nothing lie in the hospital?"
"The doctor just said it's ready to be discharged."
"Really?" Kate seemed a little disbelieving.
Following Kate at the moment is Titus, Brian.
Titus also said with some uneasiness, "You don't want to be a hero about everything."
"The doctor said it was really fine, just go home and recuperate." Ella spoke up in a hurry.
As soon as Titus heard Ella say that, he immediately believed it.
He said to Eden, "Since you need to recuperate, go home and recuperate. There are many maids at home, your mom and I, as well as your brother and sister-in-law are all here, so if there's anything inconvenient, we can still give you a hand."
"No, Mr. Adams can take care of me." Eden refused outright.
"It's so hard to get you back home." Titus sighed helplessly.
Just sigh.
Ella even got the impression that THE Dillon family people doted on Eden, that is, what he said, and basically didn't ask him as an elder.
Instead of coddling, it's more like respect.
The Dillon family people just seem to have a different attitude towards Eden.
"By the way, did you guys bring my clothes?" Eden asked, also changing the subject of going home straight away.
He had messaged Jonas before he went to bed last night to bring him and Ella a set of clothes separately early this morning, and at the moment Jonas hadn't come, so he should have let his parents bring them to him.
Actually, Jonas looks hangdog and does things reliably.
What was handed to him was never forgotten.
"Brought it brought it." Kate said in a rush, "Jonas said he couldn't make it today for a bit, so he had Steve bring you clothes early in the morning, or we really wouldn't have known you were in a car accident."
At this moment, Brian hurriedly took out the bag with the clothes, "Two random sets of clothes packed in your room, you guys make do for now."
"Thanks." Ella took it, politely.
"You're welcome." Brian smiled, turning to his parents that moment, "Let's go wait for them outside."
Said.
Brian then walked out of the hospital room with Kate and Titus.
Ella looked at Brian's back.
She could sense Brian's friendliness and really thought Brian was good in every way.
Paired with Alice, it's really spoiled.
She stared back.
Alfred is also seen standing outside the outer balcony at the moment.
Alfred obviously saw Ella's sight as well and hurriedly stepped in from the outer balcony.
Ella spoke up, "Why don't you step outside for a moment while we change."
"Good ......"
"Alfred," Eden called to him suddenly.
"Yes, Mr. Dillon."
"Help me change." Eden commanded.
Ella looked at him.
Eden just doesn't change her face and looks normal.
Ella pursed her lips and pretended she couldn't tell he was gambling either.
She then found her clothes from inside the bag and walked straight into the bathroom.
Behind her, Eden watched Ella's back.
This heartless woman really didn't say a single polite word!
