CHAPTER 194 - Something Goes Wrong (5) Ella's Self-Preservation

Ella's "no way" comment wasn't meant to be a lie to Alice, she really didn't believe that Eden would like her for a long time.

There was no crossover between them.

How could he possibly like her when she doesn't even have Eden as a character in her memory.

Perhaps it was Brian who deliberately deceived Alice.

After all, it was common knowledge that Brian liked Alice.

"Whether it's possible or not, I've reached the limit of my tolerance for you!" Alice didn't seem to want to bullshit with Ella anymore, "The reason I didn't run you over was to make your death less painful! It's to let you feel the fear of facing death, it's to torture you! Now, that's as far as it goes."

"Alice!" called Ella a little agitatedly, being aware that Alice would be hard on her, so she just had to go and commiserate, "Eden and I are just a form of marriage, you really don't have to ruin a great life for something that's not necessary! You don't have to get your own blood on your hands, it's not worth it!"

"Is it worth it ......" Alice laughed sarcastically, "Ella, you can't possibly not realize that I have nothing now!"

Ella's heart choked.

Indeed.

Alice is simply not going to be able to make a go of it now because of the failure of the shopping district project.

"Our family's relationship is so complicated, I'm now made into such a body and reputation by you, do you think it's possible for me to still have any great life? There's no need to hide it from you, according to my father's character, even if he doesn't beat me to death, he would casually give me away to any business partner and be reduced to a high class prostitute in high society. It's not like our family doesn't have such cases." Alice laughed self-deprecatingly, "Instead of going back to a life that is worse than death, I'd rather be capricious and let you die with me!"

"You can get Brian to help you." Ella tried to be as calm as possible, negotiating with Alice.

"You think Brian will actually help me?"

"The world can see that he loves you."

"But he won't disobey Eden," Alice affirmed.

Ella frowned.

Who the hell is Eden that Alice would go so far as to label him!

"Eden knows I'm just as likely to make my life hell if I don't kill me for doing this to you."

"No way!" Ella told her firmly, "I told you, Eden and I are in a shape-shifting marriage, and he's not going to do anything to you, for me!"

"That's because you don't know the real Eden," Alice said coldly, "You don't know Eden, how scary it really is!"

How scary can it be?

Inside Ella's impression.

It's just a hangdog, it's a man who thinks with his lower body.

At best, in the ten extra years she's been alive, Eden has become mature and introspective and unassailable, giving the impression of being cold and arrogant and distant, and not creepy.

"Ella, don't think I don't know what you're planning right now." Alice stared at Ella, "Trying to stall for time aren't you?"

Ella bit her lip.

Alice was never stupid.

"You expected Eden to come to your rescue didn't you?" Alice hit the nail on the head.

Ella didn't deny it.

"Don't even think about it, Eden's not coming." Alice was sure, "I'm not lying."

"I don't want him to save me, I just don't want you to kill me."

"All the more reason to stall." Alice said cold-bloodedly, "Since I've made it this far, I haven't thought that there's any way back."

Ella just looked at Alice and walked away from her.

Leave and take two steps back.

Walking up behind the two big men beside her, he said without any emotion, "Do him!"

Ella just watched as the big man took one step closer to her.

No.

Ella's hand was propped up on the ground, and her body, sitting, kept moving backward without stopping.

She can't die.

It was so hard to be reborn, I can't just die like this.

Her palms were bruised from the friction of the uneven ground.

Eyes just tightened on the two big men.

See a big man's hand, take out a black pistol.

The muzzle of the gun, so hideously pointed at her face.

Once again, Ella felt death.

Gritting her teeth, she yelled at Alice, "Alice, Eden and I are really just a form marriage, my proof!"

Alice frowned.

Actually.

Ella is going to die soon.

To her, it didn't matter if Ella and Eden were shape shifters or not, and it didn't change that she was determined to kill Ella.

But a woman's jealousy is what made her, at that moment, attracted to Ella's words.

Watch.

Ella, this woman, is really smart.

Dead to the world, all still managed to keep themselves alive for that one second longer.

Alice's footsteps, which had left, came back.

She stepped in front of the two big men and with a gesture, made them stop moving.

Ella controlled her heart rate and watched as the black pistol was temporarily put away by the man.

And don't dare let your guard down at all.

She turned her eyes to Alice and watched as Alice stood condescendingly in front of her again, "What proof do you have that you and Eden are in a form of marriage?"

"If it's not a shaped marriage, couples are supposed to sleep together aren't they?" Ella threw out the question first.

It's all about finding ways and trying to stall.

She wondered if Eden would actually show up to save her.

But she's going to give herself the correct maximum amount of time to survive alive.

She would never give up until the last second.

"So?" Alice asked her coldly.

"I'm still a virgin!" Ella threw out.

Alice was clearly a little surprised at that moment.

"I'm still a virgin, and being a virgin proves that Eden and I haven't slept together, and the only reason we haven't slept together in all the time we've been married is because we're married to each other, and there's no feelings between us, it's just about working together."

Alice looked at Ella with a critical eye.

She didn't quite believe it.

Not really convinced that Eden really has no feelings for Ella, not really convinced that they're just working together.

All Eden could say about all of Ella's behavior, if it was really just for show, was that Eden's acting was too realistic.

"Word of mouth... Ella, how do you prove that you yourself are still a virgin?" The corners of Alice's mouth lifted, a wicked smile, surfacing on her lips.

Ella bit her lip lightly.

She told herself.

There is nothing, more important than life.

Alive.

There are infinite possibilities for everything.

Dead.

Just really, nothing.

She said, "Any one of these two men behind you can prove it!"

Alice listened to Ella's words, coldly stunned for a second.

The next second, a crazy laugh.

Clearly contemptuous of Ella.

Even a little spiteful.

"Ella, you really will do anything to stay alive!" Alice laughed exaggeratedly, "So life-hungry to the point that it's okay if you'd rather be trashed by a man!"
