CHAPTER 167 - Spokesperson for White Rabbit
Colin made a big round of calls and finally reached Elijah.
The group had a coffee shop appointment.
Elijah brought White Rabbit, an artist named by Ella.
The two men looked at them all a little flattered, probably completely unable to imagine that the hallowed the Ford Group, would actually look for them to talk about cooperation.
"Hello, Mr. Johnson," Ella offered in greeting.
"You you hello, Miss Ford," Elijah all but slurred a little and shook hands.
"Hello, Ms. White," Ella volunteered to greet White Rabbit again.
White Rabbit was also flattered and quickly reached out, "Hello Miss Ford."
Two people shaking hands.
Ella just looked at White Rabbit.
Because she never followed the stars, she didn't have much interaction with White Rabbit in her last life, she had seen her occasionally on TV, and the impression she got was nothing more than that she was quite pretty, and if it wasn't for the fact that she was Jonas's wife, she probably wouldn't have put much stock in her even now.
Sure.
It's Jonas' wife's thing, and that's many years away.
According to the time draw, White Rabbit and Jonas shouldn't even be halfway across the pond by now.
Now White Rabbit is still an obscure starlet, and Jonas is still indulging in an uncontrollable world of flowers.
"Miss Ford," White Rabbit had been a little overwhelmed by Ella's hand in hers at that moment, "have you known me before?"
Looking at her scrutinizing gaze, for a second it felt like they were acquaintances.
But she really didn't remember that such a big one had ever appeared in her life, and if it had, she would never have forgotten it.
"No." Ella snapped back.
And obediently, he let go of White Rabbit's hand.
She said, self-consciously, "Just thought Ms. White was very good looking and got a little lost in thought for a moment."
The words came out.
White Rabbit is visibly embarrassed.
She laughed, "Miss Ford is the one who's really pretty. When I first saw you and Mr. Dillon's wedding, I thought you were so beautiful, and now that I've seen you in person, you really look even better than in the video."
It's a heartfelt compliment.
White Rabbit was pretty confident in her looks, but in front of Ella, there's really no comparison.
Even in a place like the entertainment industry, where there are tons of beautiful women, you can still lead the way.
"Thank you." Ella smiled slightly in a friendly gesture as she said with courtesy, "Have a seat."
White Rabbit and Elijah both followed only then, and sat down.
Ella didn't beat around the bush either, she said bluntly, "I'm looking for the two of you today, mainly because I want to invite Ms. White Rabbit to be the image spokesperson of our One World Tower. I wonder if you two are interested?"
"Really?" Elijah was obviously a little excited.
Was not expecting to suddenly be born with the stuffing falling down.
It was important to know that before this, they didn't know how many walls they had hit, how they hadn't been able to take any endorsements, and how even running roles were all kinds of grueling. Now they were actually being asked to be the spokespersons for the nation's second largest plutocrat.
It feels like a dream.
"Of course it's true." Ella affirmed, "I have the contract all ready for you."
With that, Ella directly asked Wilson to bring out the contract.
Colin was still shocked the moment he took it out.
It was a shock just now.
It's a little hard to resist right now.
"Ms. Ford, what do you mean?" Colin clearly noticed the end.
"I never wanted to sign Wendy from the beginning," Ella says bluntly.
"Wendy's popularity, but it's higher than this Ms. White in front of her I don't know where to go? Even if you don't sign Wendy now, you should at least sign a first tier star that is similar to Wendy, you're not kidding when you let Ms. White do the endorsement?!" Colin couldn't agree at all.
White Rabbit was also a little ...... embarrassed by what Colin said.
But I have to say, hearing Wendy's name in this moment still freaked her out.
Wendy is an unattainable existence to her, the Ford Group actually gave up Wendy for her ...... she herself felt unrealistic.
"I'm not kidding." Ella turned to Colin, her tone firm, "It's White Rabbit I've always wanted to sign, or I wouldn't have had a contract ready ahead of time."
Colin disbelievingly picked up the contract in front of him and looked at it a few times.
See the black and white inside the contract.
For a good half a second, "I can't believe you took $30 million out to sign White Rabbit."
Hearing the figure of thirty million dollars.
White Rabbit and Elijah were even more surprised.
It feels like winning the lottery.
This isn't a dream, is it?
With White Rabbit's current worth, you'd really be thanking God for an endorsement that goes up to 7 figures, and now she's been given a straight 8 figures.
She really didn't just go to believe it.
"Of course there are my reasons." Ella explains to Colin's surprise as well as his inability to accept, "Firstly, the Ford Group's endorsement fee is too low, it will only look like this project is cheap, so below thirty million dollars, you can basically not consider it. Secondly, White Rabbit is now in her career development period, I help her value directly to 30 million, for White Rabbit, it is the status of the entertainment industry status enhancement, she can be faster in the entertainment industry development. And the reason why I want to help White Rabbit so much is also because I think White Rabbit can become a top stream star, once she becomes a top star, the benefits White Rabbit brings to us as our spokesperson is twice the effort."
"What if we can't call it a top stream?" Colin asked rhetorically.
"No what-ifs." Ella was frighteningly firm.
It was a moment that made White Rabbit feel like she was failing Ella in general if she didn't make it big.
Inexplicably, I still feel so much psychological pressure.
Colin wanted to say something else.
"The contract is finalized." Ella interrupted directly, "I will personally explain to the senior leadership my reasons for signing White Rabbit and won't give Supervisor Mr. Hahn a hard time."
Colin held his tongue and said no more.
Ella has said this, what else can he say.
She's the chairman's daughter anyway.
She questioned what she was going to do, and she could just take care of it herself.
"Mr. Johnson and Ms. White, you'll see what the contract says, and if there are no questions, we'll sign it." Ella handed them the contract.
Elijah hastened to take it respectfully and read the contents of the contract carefully.
White Rabbit watched too.
Was really kind of not wanting what I saw.
It's been a long time.
"No problem Miss Ford," Elijah said in a huff, "but I have a question."
"Mr. Johnson please."
"I really don't quite understand why you're looking at our little rabbit, she's nothing but a newcomer now." There wasn't enough exposure either, he didn't even know how Ella had noticed White Rabbit.
"Would you believe me if I said it was a hunch?" Ella laughed softly.
It's really nice to smile.
Elijah, of course, doesn't believe it.
Everyone doesn't believe it.
Ella also knew that she couldn't fool them.
She said bluntly, "When thanking someone."
"Who?" White Rabbit wondered.
Your future husband.
Jonas.
